ABOUT ME

I am originally from Asheboro, North Carolina but currently reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2006 with a BA in History.  In 2011, I returned to school and earned my MA in History the following year.

When I am not writing, I teach high school history full-time.  I enjoy spending extra time taking trips to famous historical sites and relaxing with my dog Mr. Poogie.

My love for history most often emerges in my writing. Both of my novels, General Pershing's Other Daughter and The Pain Collector, as well as my novella, Life's Reluctant Traveler, are historical fiction, based on extensive research about certain places and times in history.
